Accessibility statement

Insightful AI is committed to making www.insightfulai.co.uk accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the UK Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Our standard

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Where we can meet AAA criteria without compromising usability, we do.

What we have done

• Skip-to-main-content link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a single H1 per page.
• Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements (≥ 2px, ≥ 3:1 contrast).
• Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and non-text elements.
• Form fields with visible labels, descriptive error messages and required-field indicators that do not rely on colour alone.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes.
• Responsive layout that reflows to 320 CSS pixels without horizontal scrolling.
• Site is fully operable by keyboard with no keyboard traps.
• Touch targets of at least 24 × 24 CSS pixels on mobile.

Conformance level

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some content does not yet fully conform. We are actively working to address the known issues listed below.

Known issues

• A small number of legacy blog images may not yet have ideal alt text. We are reviewing and updating these.
• Some embedded third-party content (e.g. external links to partner sites) may not meet the same standard as our own pages. We are not responsible for the accessibility of third-party websites.
• PDFs and other downloadable documents published before June 2026 may not be fully accessible. Newer documents are produced to meet accessibility requirements. Please contact us if you need an alternative format.

How we test

We test new and updated pages with automated tools (axe, WAVE, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS). Our internal QA process for every release includes a WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility gate which must pass before deployment.

If you need information from this website in a different format (large print, easy read, audio recording or braille), please email hello@insightfulai.co.uk. We will respond within 10 working days.

Reporting accessibility problems

We welcome feedback. If you find an accessibility problem not listed above, please email hello@insightfulai.co.uk with the page URL and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge reports within 5 working days and to fix accepted issues within 20 working days.

If you are not happy with how we respond to your accessibility complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at www.equalityadvisoryservice.com. You can also use our complaints process.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 18 June 2026 following an internal review of the site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It will be reviewed at least every 12 months or sooner if significant changes are made to the website.
